02 Sep CULTURWB promoted at CTTH 2017
Presenting the CULTURWB project at CTTH 2017 is seen as an important contribution to the 17th Conference on Contemporary Trends in Tourism and Hospitality – New Spaces in Cultural Tourism, which was held on 1 & 2 September, 2017 at the Rector’s building at the the University of Novi Sad in Vojvodina, Serbia. CULTURWB team member from the Faculty of Sciences, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, Dr. Sanja Božić, presented the paper entitled “Stakeholders’ competence gaps in cultural tourism -Western Balkans countries“.
This study is a research part of the CULTURWB project (Strengthening Capacities for Tourism Changes in WB – Building Competences for Quality Management of Heritage and Cultural Tourism), which is an ongoing projects funded through the ERASMUS+ Programme – Capacity Building in Higher Education Key Action 2.
The main goal of the paper presented was to indicate the existing gap competences in the field which the project used as a basis for development of lifelong learning (LLL) courses – targeted at the stakeholders in cultural tourism.
