The REDETE (Researching Entrepreneurship and Economic Development) is an annual conference founded in 2011 with the aim to (re)launching debates and scholarly research on issues concerning research and economic development in transition countries. Relationship between the public and the private spheres, or the ways in which the crisis of globalization and financializing impacts upon transition countries are amongst important topics of this forum. It also examines issues related to the development of political democracy and pluralism, the interaction between the region and the European Union, for instance. One of the key aspects of the REDETE conference is an interdisciplinary, required understanding increasingly complex problems that transition economies face.
