Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE Grantholders’ Meeting for the newly selected CBHE projects took place on 25-26 January 2017 at the Management Centre Europe in Brussels (Belgium).

This two-day meeting was addressed to the representatives of CBHE projects selected under the Call
for proposals EACEA/A04/2015. It was the kick-off meeting of the newly selected CBHE projects with the aim to address in detail all the practical issues related to the implementation of the project, the grant agreement management and the financial rules applicable to CBHE grants. The meeting was also an excellent opportunity for new and experienced practitioners to exchange knowledge and to network with other projects addressing similar issues and/or working with similar Partner Countries.

CULTURWB project was represented by Prof. Tatjana Pivac, project coordinator from the University of Novi Sad (UNS) and Mrs. Jana Čarkadžić, partner from the Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures (SMOC). Although the participation was limited to the project coordinator and one representative from a Partner Country institution represented in the consortium, web-streaming facilities were available during the part of the meeting so as to ensure that all the project partners can benefit from and participate in the discussions. This was welcomed by all CULTURWB partners.

The meeting was divided into plenary sessions, parallel workshops sessions and a helpdesk. The workshop sessions were devoted to Financial and Contractual issues, with the latter being webstreamed in the morning of the first day in English and in the afternoon of the same day in Spanish. The web-stream facility included a chat in order to address the questions raised by participants online.

The helpdesk which was organised during the second day allowed individual project representatives to have a bilateral discussion with the EACEA staff, and where appropriate, with representatives from the International Contact Points (ICPs) in the Programme Countries and/or the National Erasmus+ Offices (NEOs) located in some of the Partner Countries’, in order to address specific issues or questions related to project implementation. This enabled Prof. Pivac and Mrs. Čarkadžić to meet Mr. Franco Burgio, CULTURWB Project Officer and get the necessary clarifications and further project-related recommendations.

Furthermore, during the afternoon of the first day, a time-slot was devoted to networking between project representatives by regions and by themes, which encouraged interaction and discussions between projects working in the same regions and/or in the same themes.

The meeting ended on the evening of 26 January 2017.
